Lace up your skates and get dressed in your coziest sweater because Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix is about to freeze! Starting Nov. 26, the beloved CityScape ice rink, also known as “CitySkate,” will return to this popular local hub.

CitySkate is Phoenix’s only real outdoor ice rink, bringing one of the oldest cold weather traditions to the desert. Spanning over 7,000 square feet and trimmed with twinkling lights and festive holiday decor, CitySkate will definitely get you in the holly, jolly spirit.

Whether you are a novice on the ice or at figure skater status, you’ll definitely have hours of fun and nonstop excitement skating with your family and friends. Skates are provided, and the rink offers special discounts for military, seniors and college students (Sundays only). Be sure to head downtown for the ice rink’s grand opening event on Nov. 26 for exciting live performances, photos with Santa and the lighting of the giant Christmas tree.

For hours, times and ticketing information, visit the CitySkate ice rink’s official website. You can also watch the video below to learn more.
