Toyota Highlander

The Highlander is Updated with Splendor

In a new unveiling, Toyota unwrapped the 2020 Toyota Highlander, and many people were left wide-eyed and open-mouthed at the splendor. With the newest Highlander, we see a sleek styling, robust package of safety features and a revised powertrain. The 2020 Toyota Highlander holds to a champion formula it discovered from before, and you have incremental improvements that have made it all the better.

What We Know

We can expect an awesome new car to hit the pavement lots in December. It has a sleeker and more impressive design than the last Highlander, and the grille looks aggressive and sculpted on the sides. With the new body, you have an aerodynamic design that helps with fuel economy while lowering the wind noise.

What Does the Interior Look Like?

Open the door and step inside the car to see some of the most beautiful craftsmanship around. You can seat between seven to eight passengers, and the L and LE trims have a second-row bench seat. In addition, you have a standard three-zone climate control system that circulates air around the cabin to meet everyone's needs. Since last year's model, we see a Toyota Highlander that has stepped up its quality on the infotainment level. You have Apple CarPlay compatibility and Android Auto to make connecting to your car from the smartphone even easier.

Looking at the More Expensive Trims?

Like with many of the cars, as you upgrade to the more expensive trim levels, you get audio upgrades that make for seamless music performances. Let's say that you want to go big with the Platinum trim, you will receive a large 12.3-inch touchscreen.

A Look Under the Hood

When you choose the 2020 Toyota Highlander, you get a stunning car beneath the hood. You get two powertrains that come with 295 horsepower and a V6 engine. You can also select the 240-horsepower hybrid engine. With the V6 engine, you can pull up to 5,000 pounds with a heavy radiator and engine coolant. Let's say that you choose the hybrid model. You can get 34 mpg, which is a large step up since the 28 mpg. For the first time ever, you can choose to have the hybrid as either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Because of the engine, you can get four different driving modes that include Normal, Eco, EV and Sport. If you want to save on engine and battery power, you'd want Eco mode. EV, on the other hand, will let you run your car entirely on electricity. Sport mode takes the raw power of the 2020 Toyota Highlander and drives the car straight into brilliance. Even when facing down some of the fiercest and toughest competition, the 2020 Toyota Highlander has performed astoundingly well, and you have an incredible balance of responsive handling, comfortable interior and a smooth ride.
