Phoenix Toyota Dealer Reviews the 2014 Avalon
Following a from-the-ground-up redesign last year, Avalon has risen to the top of its segment and is now "the one to beat," according to Car Connection's 2014 Toyota Avalon review. This year, both gas and gas-electric models offer added value with the addition of new features and options.
Maricopa County residents can find the 2014 Avalon and Avalon Hybrid for sale in Phoenix at Camelback Toyota. Trim levels include the XLE, XLE Premium, XLE Touring and Limited; hybrid variants come in all but the base trim. Changes this year include: A backup monitor is now standard equipment on all models. Gas and hybrid XLE Premium models add Display Audio and the Entune App suite, which includes OpenTable, MovieTickets.com, Pandora, Bing, Yelp and more. On XLE Touring models, last year's silver finished wheels have been replaced with new 18-inch anthracite-painted alloy wheels. And a Blind Spot Monitor is newly optional on gas and hybrid XLE Touring models.
The five-passenger sedan continues to show off a dramatic new design, which is a significant departure from its previous styling. Overall, it's more chiseled and athletic with a new sporty personality that matches the car's enhanced performance. Avalon has also gained increased fuel-economy with a class-leading 25 mpg combined for the V-6; it also debuted the 40-mpg hybrid variant just last year, so efficiency-focused shoppers can now choose a model specifically designed for their needs.
