Phoenix Toyota Dealer Reviews the 2016 Sequoia
Buying aĀ 2016 Toyota Sequoia inĀ Phoenix is a smart choice for parents in need of an eight-passenger utility vehicle with flexible cargo space, excellent towing ability, and features that'll please both kids and adults.
Trim levels include the SR5, Limited and Platinum, all of which come equipped with a high-powered 5.7-liter V8 engine that's capable of producing 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission and there's a choice of two drivetrains: standard rear-wheel drive or optional four-wheel drive. Depending on your setup, Sequoia can tow between 7,100 and 7,400 pounds.
In addition to power, the SUV also focuses on connectivity and safety. In Kelley Blue Book's 2016 Toyota Sequoia review, editors say the upgraded Entune multimedia systems, which provide in-car access to smartphone apps, are among their favorite features. This year, SR5 models now come standard with the Entune Audio Plus unit, which includes Connected Navigation (Scout GPS Link). Higher tier trims receive upgraded Entune systems, as well. The Premium Audio and Premium JBL Audio units add Slacker Radio in place of the former Bing Destination Search and thanks to new processors the systems perform 85 percent faster.
Furthermore, the 2016 Toyota Sequoia in Phoenix offers a great new package option for Limited trims this year. On top of the STAR Safety System, a suite of security features that comes standard on all models, the new package takes security further with a Blind Spot Monitor, plus convenient memory side mirrors and a power memory driver's seat. If you're looking for enhanced safety, the Platinum trim is also an excellent option; it comes standard with the Blind Spot Monitor and adaptive cruise control.
