Toyota Yaris Review for 2016 Model Year
The Toyota Yaris is more than the little car that could. It's got confidence for days with an athletic European-inspired appearance, many notable features and nine standard airbags that are smartly positioned to protect passengers in all seating positions.
If you're shopping for aĀ 2016 Toyota YarisĀ in Phoenix, head to Camelback Toyota and select between the Yaris L, LE and SE trim levels. All come with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. Depending on the trim level you select, five-speed manual and/or four-speed automatic transmissions are available. Some 2016 Toyota Yaris reviews suggest the manual if you're looking for quicker acceleration and greater fuel economy, but if you don't prefer shifting your own gears the automatic will still get you an excellent EPA-estimated 32 combined (30 city/36 highway), which is pretty dang close to the mpg ratings you'll get with the manual.
As far as body styles, the 2016 Toyota Yaris in Phoenix can be had in two-door or four-door hatchback layouts. All trim levels are offered as four-doors, while the L and LE offer two-door body styles in addition to the four-door configuration. In the cabin, features remain the same no matter the number of doors. At the base level, you'll get standard AC, a trip computer, Bluetooth phone/audio, a tilt steering wheel, and an Entune audio display with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, HD radio, USB/iPod/auxiliary inputs and a CD player.

Every Yaris also comes with Toyota's Star Safety System, a suite of features that protect passengers in several ways. The Star Safety package includes Smart Stop technology, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist, an antilock braking system, and traction and stability control.
