What's New for the 2022 Toyota Venza?
The Venza came back to the market in 2021 after being gone for six years. Now that it is back, this SUV comes standard with all-wheel drive and a hybrid powertrain, plus a long list of features. Moving into 2022, the Venza continues to be an efficient and well-rounded vehicle option.
2022 Venza Trims & Features
There are three trim levels available for the Venza in 2022. The entry-level LE is luxurious and practical, coming standard with a hands-free liftgate, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control. There are quite a few tech features as well, including wireless smartphone charging, four USB ports, and a six-speaker sound system.
The midlevel trim is known as the XLE. It has larger wheels, roof rails, and projector-style LED headlights. Inside, there are heated front seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The top Limited model has front seats that are ventilated as well as heated, plus a heated steering wheel.

2022 Toyota Venza Horsepower
A hybrid 2.5L four-cylinder engine comes standard for the 2022 Venza. The total output is 219-horsepower, which moves this SUV around town nicely. There is a continuously variable transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
Toyota Venza Safety
Every new Venza has the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of features, which includes lane departure alert and lane-centering assist. The bundle also includes adaptive cruise control and forward-collision mitigation for even more confidence on the road. The Limited model has a 360-degree camera system as well. Available on select trims are also rain-sensing windshield wipers.
