In honor of National Child Passenger Safety Week, Camelback Toyota will be partnering with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to provide free car seat education and inspections!

Camelback Toyota and Phoenix Children’s Hospital want to make sure all Phoenix metro area parents and caregivers are buckling children, especially those 12 and under, in the correct car seat configuration for their age and size. We’re here to help determine whether your child needs to be in a rear-facing seat, forward-facing seat, booster seat or a seat belt.

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children 1 to 12 years old. From 2006 to 2010, 4,028 children in this age group were killed, and an estimated 660,000 were injured. That’s more than the entire population of Boston, Massachusetts. However, the risk of injury or death can be drastically reduced when a child is in a correctly-installed and age- and size-appropriate car seat.

On Friday, September 23, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Camelback Toyota and Phoenix Children’s Hospital will provide cost-free education to parents and caregivers on National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Car Seat Guidelines. We will also offer free inspections so that you can ensure your child’s car seat is installed correctly every time.
