What's New for the 2027 Toyota Sequoia?
The Toyota Sequoia gets a few notable updates for the 2027 model year, including updated exterior styling and refreshed interior technology. The 2027 Sequoia gets a redesigned front grille, a square bumper design, and redesigned fog lamps with a rectangular shape. The Sequoia is now available with an additional package, called the Trailhunter package, with an off-road suspension, Crawl Control drive mode, and Michelin Trail tires. The Sequoia is also outfitted with a new standard 14-inch display screen that replaces the previously 8-inch standard infotainment display. Lastly, a new color, called Honeycomb, is available for the 2027 Toyota Sequoia as well.
What Are the 2027 Sequoia Trims & Features?
In 2027, the Toyota Sequoia is still offered as a large three-row SUV with the same trim levels as in previous years.
The base model that you can get is the SR5. This trim is well-equipped with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a pleasant interior with three zones of automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a sunroof, and a cargo system that you can adjust to your needs. For technology, you'll get a standard 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument panel, an eight-speaker sound system, keyless entry, and a push-button start.
The Limited trim, which is next, upgrades to 20-inch wheels with a dark gray finish. Leather upholstery is standard on this model, which also has ventilated front seats. A heated steering wheel and second-row sunshades are standard. The Limited adds two 120V AC outlets in the second row and cargo area.
The Platinum trim adds black alloy wheels, upgraded LED headlights, massaging front seats, captain's chairs in the second row, heated and ventilated second-row seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, a wireless phone charging pad, and a JBL sound system.
With the TRD Pro comes a black front grille with integrated light bar, an off-road suspension system, TRD synthetic leather upholstery, and standard four-wheel drive.
The 1794 trim is a Texas-style trim with a chrome grille, 20-inch alloy wheels, 1794 badging, custom leather upholstery, and wood trim accents.
The Capstone features a wood interior trim detail, 22-inch chrome wheels, premium leather seats, and a head-up display.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2027 Sequoia Have?
The Sequoia is available with a turbo 3.4L V6 hybrid system that produces 437 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque.
