This past December, Toyota showed off 15 new electric vehicle concept models during a media presentation. The rollout is set to occur by the year 2025, and Toyota has plans to incorporate 30 electric models by the year 2030. Not only is the plan to add electric options to their existing models that have seen a great deal of success, but there will also be new vehicles that are reasonably priced for the masses.
As part of the beyond Zero series, Toyota will be revealing the bZ4X mid-size SUV. It is currently being manufactured with plans to become available to customers soon. It has a single motor option that provides 201 horsepower, or you can opt for a dual motor that provides 215 horsepower. All of the new electric models that Toyota has announced will come with a 450km range as well as 150 KW charging capability. You can quickly charge your vehicle from empty to about 80 percent in just thirty minutes.
The electric bakkie has been announced, which is an electric truck. It’s similar to the design of the Tacoma but has a more modern exterior. Other models will include a small crossover, sports car, sedan, and a variety of compact and large SUV models.
