The Scion iA has been reborn and officially crowned the 2017 Toyota Yaris iA. The name change was made due to dissolution of the Scion of brand; however, the new model still stays true to its roots, offering many of the same amenities, safety features and performance as its predecessor. This doesn’t completely stand true for the styling, which has been slightly modified, appearing to be more dramatic than ever before.

The Scion brand has just about seen its last days, but that doesn’t mean its models are getting the boot. Several vehicles under the nameplate have been re-branded as Toyotas, including the Scion FR-S, which will be known from here on out as the Toyota 86. Back in action for 2017, the new model gets a fresh design, performance upgrades, interior modifications and other slight tweaks that will have fans looking at the rear-wheel drive sports car in a whole new light.
