Meet Toyota's All-New Crossover

For the 2018 model year, Toyota is introducing a stylish new crossover vehicle: the Coupe High-Rider, or CH-R for short. Born out of a desire to create a unique new model for drivers who want a small and nimble hatchback with the feel of an SUV, the CH-R is sure to be popular with fans of popular Toyota models like the Yaris and RAV4.

The 2018 Toyota C-HR in Phoenix shows off with sleek and sporty styling, and comes equipped with many modern features. On top of that, many 2018 C-HR reviews compliment the comfort and space it offers, as well as its handling and ride quality on various types of terrain.

Two Well-Equipped Trim Choices

The C-HR is available in two trims, each packed with a plethora of creature comforts and innovative technologies.

The entry-level model is the CH-R XLE, although nothing about it feels entry-level at all. Standard features on this model include automatic headlights with automatic high beam control, a rear spoiler, a 7-inch touchscreen display, adjustable driving modes, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and Bluetooth connectivity.

Upgrading to the XLE Premium adds keyless entry and ignition, heated front seats and more advanced safety tech, which you can read about below. Additionally, the crossover can be outfitted with several other accessories, such as a roof rack and extra cargo storage.

Smooth Performance Is Standard

The 2018 C-HR in Phoenix contains a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 144 horsepower and 139 pound-feet of torque. It has a front-wheel drive system that is matched to a smooth-shifting, continuously variable automatic transmission.

Toyota C-HR reviews have plenty of praise for the crossover's performance, highlighting the fun ride that this vehicle offers. In addition to being nimble and quick on the road, drivers will find that it is quiet and smooth, even on bumpier roads.

Dependable Safety Features

Each C-HR is well-outfitted with the latest safety tech. Both the XLE and the XLE Premium have a rearview camera, traffic-adapting cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking and lane departure warning. The XLE Premium takes it one level further with added blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
