The 2020 Toyota Tundra was crafted with a few very specific functions in mind. Toyota wanted to make a truck true to the roots of all full-size trucks, a little something called hauling and towing. Your goal is to haul and tow, and for this purpose, your 2020 Tundra is a beast.
A TRD Pro edition is certainly worth considering if you want more gadgets and toys to play within your interior. There has also been a total revising of the suspension system, for a purer off-road performance than ever before if you need to get the heavy lifting done in places you wouldn't ordinarily tread. Toyota has plenty of other features up their sleeves, too, but above all, this is a truck driver's truck, with less fluff and more muscle. Choose from rugged colors like Calvary Blue, Midnight Black Metallic, and Army Green (more available).
The base model SR starts you off with all the basic features Tundra lovers are known to love. The model lineup expands to the SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and amazing TRD Pro. For state of the art features and more towing power, you'll want to go with the top of the line TRD Pro, a model that got rave reviews even from those who weren't all that thrilled about other models of the Tundra. Don't doubt the Tundra. It can give you luxury. You just have to go to the higher trims to nab it. Features to pay attention to include:
Two engine choices await you on the 2020 Tundra. There's a 4.6-liter engine that belts out 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque. Amp things up massively with the big, bold 5.7-liter engine good for 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. No, there's no massive third engine choice here, but the Tundra doesn't need it. Why? Well, this is generally the two powertrains that someone with big towing and hauling needs have, and it keeps the price lower. You can't beat that.
Toyota Safety Sense is a generously added standard to all models of the Tundra, a truly impressive point and reason to buy. You get a Pre-collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Auto High-beam lights, and Dynamic Radar cruise control, and that's just for starters. Other advanced safety features include a standard driver and front outboard passenger Advanced Airbag System and Trailer-Sway Control feature.
