What's New for the 2023 Toyota RAV4?

Toyota has updated the RAV4's outdated infotainment system with a more advanced and larger system. On LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Adventure trims, an 8.0-inch display replaced the 7.0-inch device from the previous model; Limited and TRD Off-Road versions received a larger 10.5-inch display. The newest software interface from Toyota is easier to use than the previous version, and it supports wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and over-the-air updates. The gauge cluster now comes with a 7.0-inch display as standard equipment, with a 12.3-inch display available on the Limited, XLE Premium, and TRD Off-Road variants.

The LE includes LED headlights, a rear wiper/washer, and intermittent front wipers. It also has tinted rear privacy glass, 17-inch steel wheels with covers, and remote keyless entry. The XLE has 17-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, and variable wipers. It has roof rails, Toyota's Smart Key keyless entry, and front lock/unlock touch sensor door handles.

The 2023 RAV4 is powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Although all-wheel drive is now an option, front-wheel drive is still the default system offered by Toyota. It depends on the trim level. The Adventure model has an all-wheel drive system that can disconnect the rear axle to increase fuel efficiency.
