The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck that seats five passengers. For 2023, the Tundra's simple interior design and general use leave a more enduring impression. The Tundra provides enough space for every passenger, especially the CrewMax configuration. The commanding driving position, well-readable gauges, and visuals make driving much easier.
What's New for the 2023 Toyota Tundra?
The new turbocharged V6 engine, one of the biggest upgrades, provides roughly the same amount of power as the old Tundra's V8 engine but produces more torque, which is useful for towing and has significantly better EPA-estimated fuel economy. A hybrid V6 powertrain is also an option, giving the Tundra more power than the conventional V6.
What Are the 2023 Tundra Trims & Features?
The 2023 Tundra has seven trims: 1794, TRD Pro, SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and Capstone. The SR has 18-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, a sheet-molded compound composite bed, and an 8-inch touchscreen. The SR5 features alloy wheels, LED foglights, a drive mode selector, and adjustable tie-down cleats in the bed.
The Limited trim has 20-inch wheels, simulated leather upholstery, a 14-inch center touchscreen, a digital instrument panel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Platinum adds luxury by including ambient interior lighting, a power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, a premium JBL audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated rear seats. Although equipped similarly to the Limited trim, the TRD Pro is designed for rocky terrain. The Capstone trims take Platinum's features and adds 22-inch wheels, power-deploying running boards, capstone-exclusive exterior and interior trim, and sound-reducing front windows.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Tundra Have?
A turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque comes standard on the first five models. It is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission and has a choice of four-wheel drive with low-range gearing or rear-wheel drive.
The same engine is coupled to a battery-electric hybrid powertrain. It is optional on the Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition trims while coming standard on the TRD Pro and Capstone models. The overall output of this powertrain, dubbed Hybrid Max, is 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Tundra Include?
The Tundra has a forward collision warning system, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. It also has a Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
