What's New For the 2021 Toyota Camry?
In 2021 the Toyota Camry gets a slight design refresh. The trim lineup is slightly shorter in 2021 with the elimination of the L. However, six equally appealing and value-laden trims are available this year, with several custom finishes available across the board. The Camry still stands out for its lengthy list of safety features, which is even better than in earlier years in 2021. The Camry has a spacious cabin and plenty of trunk space. Wireless charging is available in some trims. You can now choose between a standard seven-inch infotainment display or a larger nine-inch display on some trim levels this year.
Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?
The first trim in the 2021 Toyota Camry series is the LE. This trim has a standard suite of driver-assist safety tools, but you can also add more safety features through packages. The base trim begins with 17-inch wheels, upgraded to 18-inch wheels by the second trim level. The LE has a standard seven-inch infotainment display. It comes loaded with Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay. Split-folding seats in the back are standard.
Along with larger wheels, the SE trim level gets a sportier theme with a sport-tuned suspension, simulated leather seats, automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The transmission is still automatic, but it comes with paddle shifters. The SE Nightshade is a variant of the SE with a blacked-out exterior and 18-inch wheels.
The Nightshade also adds a spoiler, a black-themed exterior trim, and unique 18-inch wheels. Leather seats are added to the XLE, with LED headlights as a standard feature. Remote start and keyless entry are other amenities. The XSE gets slightly more power from the base engine, and it also has larger 19-inch wheels and a gloss black grille. The TRD is the sportiest variant with black mirrors and trim, and it comes with a standard V6 engine.

2021 Toyota Camry Powertrain Options
Two engines are available for the 2021 Toyota Camry. The first engine, a four-cylinder, produces up to 203 HP, and the XSE gets slightly more power at 206 HP with the same engine. The XSE has the same transmission as the lower-level trims, an eight-speed automatic despite the minimal power difference. Other Camry trims can opt for the 301 HP V6, standard on the TRD.
Toyota Camry Safety Features
Automatic cruise control, road sign recognition, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keep assist are standard safety features in the 2021 Toyota Camry.
