We’d like to congratulate Managing Partner John O’Malley on his recent retirement after over 30 years of service at Camelback Toyota. To celebrate this occasion, we held a big retirement party at the dealership. Over 350 people were there for the celebration and several special activities took place. Did you know that in low-income areas there’s approximately only one book per every 300 kids? If you want to help change this, join us in supporting Southwest Human Development. They’re holding a virtual book drive called “Grow a Reader” to help get books in the hands of children in need.

Toyota Stop & Start Engine System is an advanced drivetrain technology introduced in North America during the 2017 model year. It improves the operational efficiency of vehicles by turning off the engine when a vehicle stops, then restarting the engine when acceleration is required. This introduction solved operational issues other car makers could not address, so the smoother-running mechanism took these systems one step ahead.

Each year, Camelback Toyota has an awesome opportunity to help the community, and each year, it's met with the same enthusiasm to do so. Two of the exceptional organizations that Camelback Toyota is honored to assist are Mary Ellen's Place and Veterans First. Christmas time can be difficult for families who are struggling and both of these organizations have a commitment to make a difference during this time.

The Arizona Humane Society and Camelback Toyota recently hosted a pet adoption event right here at our dealership. It is estimated that each year, approximately six million pets are surrendered to shelters. Another sad statistic states that as many as four million of these animals are euthanized because of lack of room in shelters and a lack of interest from adopters. For dog lovers this is heavily felt, so through this event we aimed to increase awareness of pet adoption and raise money for a great cause.
